I thought it might be fun to add some story starters here.  Please choose a story starter for your grade level, finish the story, add your first name, your teacher's name, and I'll read what you've written.

For 2nd graders, here is a story starter for you.

One  day  this  cat  said  I  love  you and the   prson  who  this  cat talked to scremd.  then the cat  mouwd  the  lon,  nexsd  the cat  drank  cofe, and   went  to school. Then  the cat trnd   into  a elphephant.

Jordan wrote:

If cats coud talk to me it wood be so neet.  They might say hallo Jordan.

Nick wrote:

If cats could talk it would be funny. I like it when cats talk.  They say heloe to me.

Christopher wrote:

If cats could talk it would be funny. I wud lauf when I herd them.

Kody wrote:

If cats could talk it would be weird. Very weird. They could say hi to me.
